Telesales Manager, Commercial Property – £85k
If you are an experienced telesales professional with a track record of successfully managing a team, our client in London’s commercial property world would like to meet you. This is a brilliant opportunity to improve an already good team and, over the next 12-18 months, grow the team further in a dynamic company with a fantastic client list and big plans.
Working with London companies both large and small, and a particular expertise in the creative and tech industries, our client helps companies find the best office space for them when they’re searching for a new home. Based in the City and within hitting distance of Shoreditch, it’s a young, vibrant and dynamic company to join.
It’s your role to run the telesales team, a small and successful team of outbound callers who are searching for new business leads for companies moving office in the next 3-12 months. This is a player manager role, ie. you’ll be making calls yourself to find new clients as well as managing and coaching the outbound calling team. The end game for you and your team is to source well-qualified leads of decision-makers within companies moving office and book meetings for one of your surveyors to meet them for more a detailed assessment of needs. Once instructed, the property team will make sure they find the best office in the best location for the best price.
It is essential that you are happy to be actively sourcing and calling leads yourself and that you are successful in booking meetings IN ADDITION to being the team leader, helping the rest of the team with tips, routines, processes and inspiration.
The Sales Talent Matrix: Does this sound like you?
Knowledge: You are an experienced outbound caller, probably with 5+ years’ success in a similar kind of role, preferably in commercial property but outstanding candidates from other markets will be considered; you must have led teams before, managing, coaching and enabling high performance; if you are not already working in commercial property, an interest in it would be helpful and you must also know London well.
Attitude: Positive, proactive, focused and a joy to work with. You’ll combine a ruthless determination to be successful with a smile and light touch to be a reassuring presence in the office.
Skills: Strong telesales and telemarketing skills; outstanding ability to manage salespeople day in day out; sales coaching skills; fluent in best use of sales CRM systems; proven ability to manager sales processes and pipeline, and to report back on them to senior management.
Habits: Well-organised, punctual, hard-working and well presented at all times.
On offer is a salary of £65-75,000pa (depending on experience) with a commission structure giving on target earnings in year 1 of £75-85,000pa and significantly more in year 2.
