Telesales Executive, Finance – £30k

Our client is a trusted source for intelligence on regulatory developments within the payments sector and the gaming world – regulations change quickly and often; their service helps their clients stay on top of the changes to stay compliant. They have become particularly strong in the FinTech and PayTech sectors, helping global businesses make timely, informed decisions to minimise regulatory risk and capitalise on new opportunities. They are now looking for an ambitious and professional salesperson to join their team based in central London.
You will be speaking to prospective clients, both through incoming enquiries and outbound activity, about their needs and their interest in the expertise you offer. Through credible introductions and intelligent questions – both online and over the phone – you’ll explore their needs and then introduce them to one of your Business Development Managers for a more detailed meeting or call. You will be speaking to senior decision-makers, such as Chief Compliance Officers and Heads of Legal, so you’ll need to have the confidence to handle them well and move them forward in the sales process.

Knowledge: You should have at least a year’s experience in a subscription sales position in a fast-paced business environment with a proven track record of success; you do not need prior experience of the sector but insight and interest would be beneficial as would experience of similar sectors; you will probably be educated to degree-level though applications welcome from those with strong school results.
Attitude: You are probably quite entrepreneurial in the way you approach life and business, meaning you’re proactive and willing to take ownership of your results; positive, enthusiastic and purposeful in all you do, you should be a good influence on all around you at work. .
Skills: Excellent written and spoken English is a must; professional telesales skills and the ability to research effectively are important; you should be a quick learner who takes on board new ideas with relish and turns them into habits.
Habits: An attention to detail in all you do is essential; from organisation to preparation and presentation, day in day out. You should be happy with high levels of sales activity each day.
