Telemarketing Researcher, Commercial Property – £45k
This well-established commercial property company, amongst the biggest and best names in their sector, is looking for an experienced and strategically-minded telesales or telemarketing professional to join their team in central London. You do not need experience of the commercial property market as our client is happy to give you training once you start. You do need to know how to open up new business over the phone and how to formulate strategy around the aims of your calls and your target clients.

Your day-to-day work involves calling senior decision-makers responsible for the buildings and interiors at companies across the UK. You’ll need to establish credibility quickly and then open up your potential clients to share information with you about their property plans. If their need matches the service you offer or if their need matches the services of one of your strategic partners, you’ll be expected to book appointments, either for senior colleagues or strategic partners (Project Managers, Architects etc) to meet them face-to-face. Do that well and you’ll carve a good career for yourself in this high-tempo, sociable and lucrative market. You will be given full support in all your work; ongoing mentorship from the Telesales Manager; and lots of opportunities to both earn well and grow your career.

Knowledge: You should have 2 years’ experience of professional appointment setting / telemarketing / telesales with the ability to learn a new market quickly; any experience or knowledge of commercial property is particularly welcome, though not essential; you should know London well; it would help if you’ve done a sales role before that involved a more complex sales conversation as, in this role, you go into each call with a range of options to offer your clients.
Attitude: Hungry to succeed; tenacious; resilient; a great person to work with; money driven; a sense of curiosity to find out as much as you can from each call you make.
Skills: Tenacious and intelligent sales style; credible and articulate over the phone; able to open conversations with authority and clarity; proven questioning skills to qualify leads; fearless in overcoming objections in professional manner; a quick and willing learner.
Habits: Well-organised and proactive in uncovering new business opportunities; happy with high call volume; able to think strategically for each call you make.
