Senior Sales Executive, Property – £40k

Our client is looking for a professional, self-motivated salesperson with a successful track record within the property sector. If that sounds like you and you’re looking for your next step, this new role with a growing commercial property company in London could be the right option for you.


Specialising in commercial property investments, our client helps investors find the right property for their money and they also help vendors looking to dispose of commercial properties. With a successful track record and a growing team, they’re now looking to grow their sales team after an excellent 2020 despite the global pandemic. 2021 promises to be a very exciting – and profitable! – year. Their head office is based in South East London and, currently, they are working 50:50 from home and in the office.


You will find and contact commercial property owners and investors to find out if they are interested in either selling or investing in commercial buildings, from warehouses to garages and onto shops and beauty salons. With access to a database of contacts along with the fruits of your own research, you will have plenty of people to call to introduce yourself and the services you offer. For interested parties, you’ll arrange a next step: either a more in-depth call or meeting or, even, a valuation of a property for sale. As soon as you’re trained and ready to go, you will take each sale from first contact to closing a deal though you have the support of others in the early stages of your tenure. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced salesperson with 2-5 years’ experience under their belt.


The Sales Talent Matrix: Does this sound like you?

Knowledge: You probably have 2-5 years’ sales experience though strong candidates with less experience are also welcome to apply; preferably, your experience will be in the property sector, ideally commercial property, but, again, if you have an interest in and understanding of property but no sales experience in that world, you are also free to apply.

Attitude: You need to be hungry for success with an outstanding work ethic – you do what needs to be done when it needs to be done rather than being the kind of person who ‘just does the job’ or is happy to tick over doing the bare minimum. You’ll be positive, enthusiastic with the courage to try out new things, jump 100% onboard with a new company and give it everything you’ve got.

Skills: You have good sales skills, both over the phone and face-to-face; you know how to use a sales CRM to track your sales pipeline; you have native level professional English, both spoken and written; you have the proven ability to open up new sales opportunities from making outbound cold calls (though you’ll also have warm leads to call);  you should be a quick and willing learner.

Habits: Punctual, well-organised and professional with a great work ethic in all you do.
