Our award-winning client specialises in state-of-the-art design of commercial property interiors, a sector known as ‘fit out’. Having worked together as team for over 20 years on projects spanning over 5 million square feet across the UK, they are now making a name for themselves as innovators with an eye to the future that sets them apart. Though still relatively new to market, they are quickly becoming a key player in the industry, with a culture as lively and sociable as their location.
It will be your responsibility to hunt out business opportunities with companies on the move and in need of a great office design for their new workplace. To do so, you’ll get on the phone and call senior decision makers responsible for the buildings and interiors of companies across London. You’ll need to establish credibility quickly and then open up those decision makers to share information with you about their property plans. You’ll pass this information on to your senior colleagues, who will work on turning those companies into clients. Do this role well and you’ll carve a good career for yourself in this lucrative market. Working alongside experts in their field, you’ll learn from the very best and will be given full training in their industry.
The Sales Talent Matrix: Does this sound like you?
Knowledge: At least 6 months’ telesales experience, preferably booking appointments in a B2B cold calling / lead generation environment. Ideal but not essential is an understanding of or interest in commercial property.
Attitude: Professional, resilient, hard-working and driven with a will to succeed, no matter the obstacles.
Skills: Strong telesales skills with attention to detail; credible and authoritative over the phone; confident and composed when dealing with senior decision-makers to open them up to your questions; excellent written and spoken English.
Habits: Well-organised, professional, punctual and proactive.
