Investment Adviser, Wealth Management – £75k

If you have a successful track record of selling to investors and you’re looking for a growing company, then we’d love to speak to you about our Mayfair-based client specialising in wealth management.


A relatively new company but with years of experience in running successful companies, particularly within the finance and investment worlds, our client is based in the heart of Mayfair. They offer a range of lucrative investment products including property investment and FX amongst others to their database of HNWIs. With hands-on, supportive management and a growing team of senior investment advisers, they’re looking for another big-hitter to join their team.


This role is focused on speaking to private investors looking to invest their money in a range of asset classes including property and foreign exchange markets. You will be tasked with introducing the assets to your own existing clients as well as calling the inbound leads generated by the company’s marketing team. This is about building long-term relationships with HNWIs and building a loyal base of regular investors. Of course, there is likely to be some outbound activity to build that base so you need both the existing database and the skills to grow that through your outbound calling skills.

Knowledge: You know how to sell professionally and consultatively over the phone; you have sold financial products and services before and, preferably, you have sold similar assets; our client is particularly interested in people who have sold investment property before and have a database of contacts; you should be practised, confident and comfortable discussing the relative merits of different kinds of investment.

Attitude: Positive, professional and enthusiastic, you’re happy to get on with your work without supervision but also enjoy being part of a sociable team. You know that the biggest factor in your success is your own attitude and work hard to bring the right one to work each day.

Skills: Proven consultative sales skills, particularly over the phone, selling consultatively to High Net Worth Individuals; excellent spoken and written English; strong organisation skills; good customer service; the ability to work alone productively whilst keeping your colleagues updated.

Habits: You’re a professional and have habits to suit: punctual, well-prepared, organised and hard-working.


The basic salary for this role is £35,000 – £45,000pa, depending upon experience. You can realistically expect to make £65,000 -£75,000 in your first year and more in subsequent years.
