Account Manager, Finance – £40k

Our client is a trusted source for intelligence on regulatory developments – regulations change quickly and often; their service helps their clients in the financial sector to stay on top of the changes to stay compliant. They have become particularly strong in the FinTech and PayTech sectors, helping global businesses make timely, informed decisions to minimise regulatory risk and capitalise on new opportunities. They are now looking for an experienced and professional account manager to join their London team.

Role

You will be responsible for ensuring every customer is retained as well as upselling and cross-selling to increase client value. To do this, you will need to build strong relationships with clients to understand the individual stakeholder and business needs. A strategy for each client will be required and you’ll map each account carefully, with plans for contact points and services to offer. You will regularly analyse client statistics and take proactive steps to encourage increased and consistent engagement with your service. For any accounts lost, you should have a clear strategy to win them back (and then use that strategy in future before they cancel!). You’ll be happy setting your own forecasts for business and reporting back on progress regularly.

Knowledge: You should have a track record of sales success in the management of accounts and increasing the value of your client base; experienced in solution and value selling within a B2B information provider; confident using Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities and forecast revenue.

Package
